Tybee Island in November is usually warm and sunny, and the island is quiet and peaceful, with few outside visitors. Although it won’t typically be beach weather this month, this can be a great time to enjoy water sports such as kayaking or paddle boarding, hiking and biking, or a boat trip into the marshes or to nearby barrier islands such as Little Tybee.
Tybee Island events in November are mostly of the small and local variety. There is usually a fee-free admission day to Fort Pulaski this month, for Veterans Day, and local musical and other performances are often scheduled too.
Other things to do in Tybee Island in November include visits to nearby Fort Pulaski, or Fort Jackson a little further away, or to the Tybee Island Lighthouse and Museum. Nearby there are wildlife refuges and other nature sites, the many attractions of Savannah, or you could make a day trip to historic Beaufort or Bluffton.
